Almost 6 AM. Not going to get up until 7. Then will break camp, load the truck and head to the plaza to find someplace to eat breakfast and meet for pictures at 8:45. Then off we'll go.
Starting to hear noises of other riders moving around, but trying to stay in the sleeping bag for as long as possible. It's cold out there! 45 degrees. But no rain overnight and currently clear skies.
Arrived in Las Vegas after about 72 miles. No rain so far, nice breeze and temps.
Had a nice COLD shower. Hard to take a shower and not stand directly under the water.
Tent is up and clothes up on the line. Waiting for supper since lunch was a peach we bought at a road side stand, and a granola bar. Also we shared a small bag of chips when we stopped at a gas station. Tomorrow I'm carrying with my Spam so I have some protein to go with granola if nothing else available.
