Breif section on old santa fe trail road and then onto old pecos trail road where we rejoined theoldsantafe trail that deadended at an old mission church, which also was at apache canyon site of the defeat of the mexican commander from santa fe by american trooPs and later a union victory over confederate troops bent on establishing sla efy in the region.apache canyon has been widened for I-25 so we rode on it for about 10 milesthen back on old santa fe trail.arrived at lasvegas nm and set up.... COLD shower at the high school. Now for a cold sierra nevada pale ale. Then to dinner and riders meeting.
