Rest day at Council Grove,Ks.
Beautiful clear and cool evening....44deg by 6am. Magnificant star display last night.
We are camped at the city park at the edge of town. Last night was quiet ex for coyotes singing in the near distance.
Walked to downtown this morning after sleeping in till 715am,and had breakfast at the Senior center. Nit alot of food there for Nancy to eat so we went ti the local supeemarket grabbed a couple coffees from tge gas station and ate in the park next to the Neosho river.
Wandered back to camp to take care of some house (or should i say tent) keeping items. Then moseyed back into town in the opposite direction to attend worship serrvices at Calvary Lutheran Church. Left with spiritual batterys recharged. It turns out that They will be hosting our breakfast tomorrow morning.
Walked down the river walk and viewed various sites related to the s/f trail.
Bow for lunch at pizza hut.
This evenings dinner will also be at the senior center.
Will head back to campafter lunch and lube the bike chains and make adjusyments as necessary.
Then, most likely, a nap will be in order! E
